I just saw that Josh posted these two panels from our 13pager, so i guess it’s ok for me to do so as well. Unfortunately the reds are oversaturated again. No matter what i do organges/reds never come out right when exporting to jpg. It’s annoying as hell.
I know it has been far to silent for far too long already again. But i’m still in the grips of work & comics since i’m determined to persue a career in comics rather sooner than later. I finished inking the 8 pager for Hannu Kesola on saturday and yesterday evening started coloring it. The story is of a more serious, darker nature so i chose to draw it in a different style than the […]
An illustration i did for the comic book shelf of Thomas.
There’s no real story behind this, so the balloons are just placed in there to test how it would look & if i left sufficient space etc.
I always thought Nightwing was even scarier than Batman. There’s something crazy about him. But i greatly enjoyed the art by Scott McDaniel whose website must have been one of the first tutorial sites i ever found and learned from.

If you’re interested, here’s the link to a zip with a psd in it. Inks + flats, if you’re crazy […]
Wooohooo, first post of the new year. Till Felix posted about an open call for submissions on Comic Book Resources. Since i haven’t done anything comic in a while but want to, i spend yesterday drawing the page. You can read all about it on the above linked page, but here’s a brief summary: Ron Marz is the author/creator of comic book (charakter) “Shinku” (and a couple of other comics) He’s also the author of […]
A couple of days ago i found this comic-campaign on kickstarter. Artist Simone D’Armini and Author Josh Vann are trying to raise money for their project “the spider king”. It’s a comic about vikings and aliens. I viewed the video, read the texts and immediately pledged. Vikings & aliens – who wouldn’t want to read about that. It’s exactly right up my alley of humorous setting and since i would really like to read the […]
and another style-test. This is what it looks like when i’m not trying to force myself to draw more “fluent, detailled, fancy”. This feels much more natural to me.
