There doesn’t seem to be much behind the short, but it has great visuals! I just enjoy the simplistic woodcut like shapes, strong flat colors and iconic compositions.

What a piece of work, and not just because it was “just” a bachelor project. I’d love to play a game in that style. Would be perfect for a dark, eery, suspense driven game.

Take a little bit of rango, a lot of Z-Brush and phototexture work and see an overstylized western short. Lots of grit, noise, sharpen, bloom and hard contrasts.
My favorite moment is at 2:43, those hands are beautiful (in an artistic manner).
